Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30 in 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Two EPs have been released, I'm FREE (2012) [3and self-titled EP released from Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his debut major label release. The second album of his studio, Therapy Session, which was released on April 22, 2016, peaked at number 12 of the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered numerous awards, among which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF achieved mainstream popularity in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album peaked at the top of the charts in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top ten international hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. He enjoyed similar commercial success. Feuerstein said that during his childhood, rap was his escape. He would record songs using an karaoke machine, recording both instrumentals and his raps using one microphone. On the 29th of November of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. The album was dropped "Alone" as his debut single on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's composers and producers. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. Feuerstein released his extended play I'm Free on May 2, 2012 with production work by Profitt. The album's tracklist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist released a teaser for the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke off from the label following a dispute and the release of NF was postponed. NF also included a song titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams on the compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4 in 2013, he released an album "Beautiful Addiction" and it was released on November 4. The track featured a second appearance by Profitt along with the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
