Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and now since 2020 - has made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she was a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as the character in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was just two she left with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties in her family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She continued, however, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
